Kieran Hurley is an award-winning Scottish playwright, performer, and screenwriter based in Glasgow. He is widely recognized for his politically engaged storytelling that explores themes of community, social class, and individual agency. Hurley first gained international acclaim with his solo performance "Beats" (2012), which won a CATS Award for Best New Play and was later adapted into a critically acclaimed feature film in 2019. His other notable works include "Mouthpiece", which masterfully tackles the ethics of class-based cultural appropriation, and "Heads Up".
