A Red Orchid Theatre is a Chicago ensemble-based theatre founded in 1993 by Guy Van Swearingen, Michael Shannon, and Lawrence Grimm. Now in its 33rd season, it features a 28-member ensemble presenting new plays and revived works with social compassion and aesthetic rigor.
