The Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre is a Broadway playhouse built by the Shuberts in 1917, originally known as the Plymouth. Designed by architect Herbert Krapp, it was renamed in 2005 to honor Shubert Organization chairman Gerald Schoenfeld. It hosts major Broadway productions including plays and musicals.
