Intro

The Majestic Theatre is a large Broadway musical house built in 1927 by the Chanin Brothers, featuring a 'modern Spanish' architectural style designed by Herbert Krapp. Originally part of a three-theatre complex, it has been operated by the Shubert Organization since 1930. It hosts major Broadway musicals and is noted for its steep orchestra rake and single large balcony offering excellent sightlines.
