Honour is a defining work by one of our country's most accomplished playwrights, Joanna Murray-Smith. Red Stitch's production will mark the 30th anniversary of this landmark play, which originally premiered at Playbox Theatre, Melbourne, in 1995. Honour focuses the chaos of infidelity and separation into an elegant, razor-sharp theatrical experience. What happens when everything you have used to define yourself - every quality, role and affiliation - suddenly abandons you? What happens when a mature, intelligent, responsible and loving woman finds her life disappearing? Featuring Red Stitch Ensemble member Caroline Lee as Honor and Peter Houghton as George, this timeless play will be directed for Red Stitch by multi award-winning director Sam Strong, returning to Red Stitch for the first time in over a decade.
