About the show

42nd Street is a 1980 musical set in New York’s Broadway during the Great Depression, based on the 1933 film of the same name, which was adapted from Bradford Ropes’ 1932 novel. Known as a classic “show musical,” it features dazzling sets and costumes, energetic choreography, lively music, and spectacular tap dancing and ensemble numbers.
