Shakespeare's final comedy, *The Tempest*. Prospera, Duke of Milan, is stripped of his power by his brother's betrayal and banished to a deserted island with his daughter Miranda, where he learns magic. After many years, he seizes an opportunity for revenge by using his magical powers to conjure a storm, luring his exiled brother and his party to the island. Trapped on the island, they confront their own desires, love, regret, and despair amidst the illusions and trials designed by Prospera; however, Prospera chooses forgiveness and reconciliation over revenge, restoring everything to its original state before bidding farewell to his magic.
