4:48 PSYCHOSIS

About the show

Written in 1999 shortly before Sarah Kane's death at age 28, the play is an experimental, non-naturalistic exploration of severe clinical depression and suicidal ideation. The script contains no assigned characters, specified settings, or stage directions. At the Old Fitz, the creative team utilized a mirrored, hospital-like dance studio set design and stark lighting to mirror a fractured internal landscape.
