About the show

Japanese Premiere Constellations is the third play in the "Drama for Two─The Power of Dialogue" series, and was first performed in 2012 at the Royal Court Theatre in London, renowned for its dedication to new writing. Constellations became a much discussed work, and was nominated the following year for four categories of the Lawrence Olivier Award, including Best New Play. This Japanese premiere will be directed by OGAWA Eriko, who is still basking in the success of her monumental but detailed staging of Opus in September 2013. What may seem like the only path through life is actually full of infinite possibilities. These possibilities pose major questions about life which vaguely crosses everyone's mind but never find an answer. The same sequence repeats itself, albeit with gradual small changes. What might we discover beyond it all?
