THE FATHER

About the show

André lives a quiet life in his Parisian apartment. But things are getting weird... For one, his watch is missing again. Strangers keep showing up unannounced and the furniture has a mind of its own. On top of that, his daughter is definitely up to something. But what? Unflinching, funny and exquisitely crafted, The Father offers us a precious window into the mind of a man fighting to hold on to who he is, and a daughter trying against all odds to help him. Testing love, family, and reality to its limits, The Father is deeply relatable and radical in its honesty. Directed by incoming Artistic Director Matt Edgerton, and with a host of Western Australia’s finest actors, The Father is a modern theatrical masterpiece bound to remain in your memory.
