THE VACUUM CLEANERS ARE SLEEPING IN THE CLOSET

About the show

A theatrical production for audiences aged six and up, created by netzwerk wildi blaatere as a commissioned work. The piece explores the collision between imagination and truth through two contrasting characters: a clever magical creature drawn to fantastical storytelling and a conventional adult bound by factual accuracy. As these perspectives clash, the performance investigates whether small, kind deceptions might sometimes be preferable to difficult, painful realities. The production runs approximately fifty minutes without intermission and premiered at Schiffbau Matchbox in April 2026.
