Swept Away is an epic tale of survival, loyalty and sacrifice, featuring a thrilling score from American folk/rock band the Avett Brothers. Set in 1888, during the final throes of the whaling trade, the story follows two brothers, the ship’s captain and first mate as they find themselves stranded in a lifeboat after their ship is wrecked at sea. Loosely based on a true story, this powerful, hauntingly beautiful and deeply moving show is filled with humour, love and constant surprises.
