About the show

The first German-language production of Billy Elliot – The Musical premiered on November 1, 2024, at the MAAG Halle in Zurich, Switzerland. Prior to this, short UK tour or visiting English-language productions had stopped in Germany (such as at Hamburg's Mehr! Theater in 2017), but Zurich hosted the historic first adaptation in the German language.
