A solo performance featuring actor Jen Tullock portraying multiple characters, this production explores themes of memoir, identity, and truth. When a bestselling author publishes a book recounting her upbringing as a gay child in the Evangelical South, she confronts a woman from her past who challenges the accuracy of the stories told. The work employs multimedia technology, including multiple live cameras and looping systems, to blur boundaries between reality and constructed narratives. Running approximately 70 minutes, the production examines how personal stories are shaped by memory, survival, and the stories we tell ourselves. Created in association with Mark Gordon Pictures, Eilene Davidson Productions, and Sara Bareilles, the work received production support from sponsors including Busy Phillips.
