About the show

Lauren works at a crematorium where she processes the deceased. Haunted by unclaimed ashes of children and infants abandoned on shelves, she becomes consumed by the forgotten lives contained within them. Driven to reunite the remains with their families, Lauren embarks on a journey that forces her to confront her deepest fears about mortality, loss, and longing. Winner of the Rodney Seaborn Award, this darkly comedic play by Katie Pollock examines how people manage grief and connection through humor and denial. Directed by Anthony Skuse, the production explores the tension between human desire and the inevitability of death.
