The Everyman
Tennessee Williams' drama unfolds in 1940s New Orleans, where Blanche DuBois arrives at her sister Stella's apartment seeking refuge. Stella's husband Stanley Kowalski views Blanche's presence with suspicion and hostility, setting in motion a collision between Blanche's fragile gentility and Stanley's crude brutality. The play explores themes of desire, mental deterioration, and the clash between old Southern gentility and modern working-class values. This production by Lee Promotions marks the play's debut at The Everyman theatre.
