Mia Bing, an aspiring singer-songwriter on the verge of a major career breakthrough, returns to her childhood home and confronts her identity as the "disappointing" daughter of Asian immigrant parents. Burdened by an unresolved family secret, she must navigate her past while finding the courage to use her voice for personal healing and change. This world-premiere musical weaves together a soulful power-pop score with an exploration of family reconciliation and personal empowerment. Drawing on the personal stories of its creators, the work channels the spirit that made the song "Quiet" a viral anthem during the 2017 Women's March, transforming intimate struggles into a broader message about resilience and connection.
