A new musical that explores organ donation and its ripple effects across multiple lives. When a young surfer dies suddenly, his heart becomes a lifeline for a stranger seeking a second chance. The story follows two families and a medical team through an intense 24-hour period where a single heartbeat carries profound meaning. Based on Maylis de Kerangal's 2014 novel Réparer les vivants, the production combines the creative talents of playwright Kait Kerrigan, composers Anne and Ian Eisendrath, director Christopher Ashley, and choreographer Mandy Moore. This marks Roundabout Theatre Company's first new Off-Broadway musical in recent years.
