A bold new stage adaptation of Frances Hodgson Burnett's classic novel, reimagined for contemporary audiences by writer Tom Wentworth. The production follows Mary, a determined and curious girl who arrives at Mistlethwaite Manor to discover a world of locked doors, distant inhabitants, and forgotten gardens. Determined to uncover the secrets hidden throughout the estate, Mary's journey becomes one of wonder and discovery. Directed by Stephanie Kempson with original music and sound design by Ben Osborn, the production transforms the venue into an immersive, living garden space. Featuring all relaxed performances with BSL interpretation, audio description, and accessible seating arrangements, the production prioritizes inclusivity while celebrating nature, childhood, and the transformative power of friendship.
