About the show

Two-time Tony Award winner Kara Young and three-time Emmy Award nominee Nicholas Braun will lead the return of Gruesome Playground Injuries Off-Broadway this season. Directed by Neil Pepe, the new production of Pulitzer Prize finalist Rajiv Joseph's ran at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in New York City. The play centers on Kayleen and Doug, whose lives have intersected at the most bizarre intervals over the course of 30 years, leading the two childhood friends to compare scars and the physical calamities that keep drawing them together.
