A tragedy based on Sophocles in a «baseldytsch» version Antigone's brother dies and King Creon refuses to bury him as a traitor. But Antigone rebels. Against her fear, the law, the new ruler and, in the end, against the citizens of Thebes. Creon threatens to bury her alive. Following the success of 'Uncle Vanya' in Swiss German, Antú Romero Nunes invites a chorus of Basel residents and all those present to a dialogue between the citizens and their tragic heroines.
