Man from Nebraska is an Off-Broadway play written by Pulitzer Prize-winner Tracy Letts. It had its New York premiere at the Tony Kiser Theatre with Second Stage Theater. The drama was directed by David Cromer and starred Tony Award-winner Reed Birney. The plot follows Ken Carpenter, a mundane 57-year-old insurance salesman from Lincoln, Nebraska. One day, he unexpectedly awakens to find he has lost his belief in God. This profound crisis of faith prompts him to embark on a transformative, sometimes wild journey of self-discovery that takes him to London and introduces him to a vastly different world.
