Tom Struik

After graduating from Queensland’s ‘Theatre & Dance’ Performing Arts School, Tom made his professional theatre debut playing the role of Toro in the 2019 HANDA/Opera Australia production of West Side Story. In 2020, Tom joined the cast of Shrek the Musical!, where he played the roles of the Pied Piper/Captain. He was also part of the 2022/23 production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, where he understudied the role of Prince Topher. He also performed in Mumma Mia! The musical, understudying the role of Sky, and more recently, the played he role of Joey in Sister Act The Musical. Tom’s vocal talent and tap-dancing skills have taken him around Australia, North America and Scotland in the 5-man show The Tap Pack. As well as working with artists such as Will.I.Am, Kylie Minogue and Ricky Martin, he also performed at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony. In 2020, Tom was thrilled to make his film debut, in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis movie. Tom is currently playing the role of Elder McKinley in The Book of Mormon.
