Awni Abdi-Bahri

Awni Abdi-Bahri (legal name: Anita Abdinezhad) is an Iranian-American actor, writer, and educator based in Los Angeles and New York City. She made her Broadway debut in 2022 in *POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive* at the Shubert Theatre. Beyond her stage work in productions including *A Christmas Carol*, *Wish You Were Here*, and *Three Tall Persian Women*, Abdi-Bahri serves as a conservatory teaching artist at South Coast Repertory and has created work for audio platforms such as *Persian Pod* and *Bismillah*.
