Loren Plotkin is an entertainment attorney and production counsel, born and raised in Brooklyn. Known for integrating sharp legal acumen with a deep passion for storytelling, he began his storied theatrical journey in 1973 as the production counsel for the West End production of Gypsy starring Angela Lansbury, subsequently guiding its historic 1974 transfer to Broadway. Over the ensuing decades, he has provided vital legal representation to non-profit theaters and approximately 100 Broadway productions, including landmark masterworks such as Rent, In the Heights, Hamilton, Ragtime, and Moulin Rouge!, while also serving as the long-standing trustee for the Alan Jay Lerner estate.
