Nick Schlieper

Nick Schlieper is an Australian lighting designer whose work spans opera and theatre across Europe, Canada, the United States, and Australia's major companies. His Broadway credits include *Priscilla, Queen of the Desert* and *The Picture of Dorian Gray*, the latter earning him a 2025 Tony Award nomination for Best Lighting Design of a Play. Schlieper has won multiple Melbourne Green Room Awards and Sydney Theatre Critics Awards for Lighting Design, as well as Helpmann Awards, with additional notable designs for productions including *Ivanov*, *The Oresteia*, *Love Never Dies*, and *Hedda Gabler*.
