Ellen Kane

Ellen Kane is an Olivier and Tony Award nominated Choreographer, Movement Director and Movement Coach. Her work is characterised by intricate and dynamic storytelling through dance; reimagining and expanding the role of movement across film and theatre. She has worked extensively across Broadway and the West End on many award winning productions and has received critical aclaim for reinventing classic musicals for modern audiences. She trained in contemporary dance and began her career performing and working with some of the UK’s leading choreographers. She choreographed the movie musical version of Matilda for Netflix / Sony, which opened the BFI London Film Festival 2022 and is currently working on Paddington: The Musical.
