Choongjoo Lee

Choongjoo Lee is a South Korean musical theatre actor and crossover vocalist known for his rich baritone voice, refined vocal technique, and versatile musical abilities. Trained in classical vocal music at Kyung Hee University, he combines his operatic foundation with expressive stage acting. He made his musical debut in Spring Awakening in 2009 and has since appeared in productions including The Devil, Mamma Don’t Cry, Sherlock Holmes, Deathtrap, The Hymn of Death, and Notre-Dame de Paris. In 2017, he gained wider recognition as a member of Edel Reinklang, a crossover quartet formed through JTBC’s vocal competition Phantom Singer 2. In addition to singing, he is an actor-musician proficient in piano, violin, and guitar.
