The World as a Model

Theater der Dinge is an international festival that explores contemporary society through puppetry, object theatre, miniatures, simulations, tableaux, and games. Since 2000, the festival has showcased innovative performances that place everyday objects at the center of theatrical storytelling. The 2026 edition celebrates its 15th anniversary, bringing together productions from 14 countries to question and reflect on the world we live in through experimental and imaginative forms of performance.
