Dong min Seo

Dongmin Seo is a playwright known for exploring queer narratives through language that resonates with universal human experiences. His play *Dried Red Peppers and Peach-Scented Lipstick* (*말린 고추와 복숭아향 립스틱*) earned him several theatre awards, including the Young Theatre Artist Award in the Theatre category at the 2025 Baeksang Arts Awards and the Jury Special Award at the Seoul Arts Awards. Upon being selected as a **DAC Artist**, Seo shared his thoughts: “I felt both happy and burdened, thinking of my fellow artists who are doing meaningful work. I believe there is no other way forward than to keep working hard. I will continue telling the stories of those who, simply because they are different from what is considered normal, are treated not merely as strange, but as wrong.”
