국립정동극장
National Jeongdong Theater of Korea opened in 1995, carrying forward the historical legacy of Wongaksa, Korea’s first modern-style theater, and the artistic spirit of modern and contemporary Korea. Presenting outstanding performances across diverse genres, including traditional Korean arts, the theater also serves as a secondary production theater, discovering, developing, supporting, and distributing promising works in the early stages of creation. Through these efforts, it contributes to the growth of the performing arts ecosystem, preserves and promotes Korea’s cultural heritage, and expands public access to the performing arts.
