Hannah Goodwin

Hannah Goodwin is a director and dramaturg who lives and works on Gadigal land in Sydney, Australia. She is known for premiering and championing new works, and for her bold reimagining of existing plays. Hannah is currently the Resident Director at Belvoir St Theatre, during her tenure she has directed multiple mainstage shows. Notably, her world-premiere production of NEVER CLOSER was the first independent production to transfer from the Belvoir Downstairs Theatre to the Upstairs Theatre in over 15 years. NEVER CLOSER was subsequently included in The Guardian’s ‘Australia on stage: the best theatre, musicals, dance and opera of 2024’.
